Dr. Gentimis has been a great teacher and mentor. He was an outstanding teacher because he was able to explain and summarize statistics so clearly that it made hard concepts easy to be learned. As a results, he provided the students with ready-to-use knowledge for their own research. Learning his classes was made easier and fun thanks to his friendly and energetic attitude. He was always available for clarifications and extra explanations, inside and outside class. His professionality and competence brought me to ask to be part of my graduating committee. As an advisor, he guided me in learning the right tools to perform my research and provided advice that brought eventually to a peer-reviewed publication of one of my projects.
